Thanks Senator Graham. We’ve been in Afghanistan some-more than 10 years, though no worries. Riots and massacres “just happen.”
The reported electrocute of about 16 Afghan civilians by a U.S. infantryman from a bottom nearby Kandahar, while tragic, is no reason to doubt a viability of a U.S. goal there, Sen. Lindsey Graham pronounced Sunday.
“While this is comfortless and will be investigated that infantryman will be hold accountable for his actions underneath a infantry probity system, unfortunately these things occur in war,” Graham pronounced on ABC’s “This Week.” “You only have to pull by these things.”
Yes, “these things” do occur in war. Which is a good reason to not quarrel wars that are unnecessary, wasteful, and counterproductive.
Ten years after ousting al-Qaeda and a Taliban, only what are we doing in Afghanistan? Instead of pulling “through these things,” we should be removing the infantry out of harm’s approach and holding them home!
